Wisconsin's Adam Scherr's new show 'Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman' debuts Oct. 24

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin's Adam Scherr, known to the rest of the world as former WWE superstar Braun Strowman joined CBS 58 Milwaukee news anchor and independent pro-wrestler Iron Mike Curkov to talk about his new national food show, 'Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman.'

"I like to try out multiple things when I eat." explained Scherr during an interview at CBS 58. "And you go out to a nice restaurant and you see all this food coming out and you're like oh, my gosh, that looks good. That looks good. That looks good. You look at the menu and everything looks so good, you can't make up your mind what you want to eat. Well, neither could I. So, I order 'Everything on the Menu.'"

The show debuts after WWE Smackdown on Oct. 24 on the USA Network. Scherr says each episode will feature two restaurants in a city. In Milwaukee, the Everything on the Menu crew made stops at Lakefront Brewery and Lupi & Iris, which got the highest praise from Scherr.

"I've eaten on every continent on this earth." said Scherr. "Every walk of life of food there is. And Lupi and Iris is in my top three favorite restaurants in the world."

Scherr, whose WWE name was partially influenced by former Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun, and Curkov paid homage to the late legendary Brewers broadcast and WWE Hall of Famer Bob Uecker by recreating a famous moment from Wrestlemania IV between Uecker and Andre the Giant.

Scherr is also appearing at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's 'Harvest Havoc,' along with Curkov, on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the OAW Indoor Sports Complex in New Berlin, Wis. Scherr is often seen at local Wisconsin wrestling events. Many times, he's not even part of the show.

"It's just a community thing. I've gotten really close with Dave Herro, the promoter of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling. I love his family. I love what he does for the community." Scherr said. "And this is my home. I see the excitement on people's faces when I show up at these smaller events..."

Earlier this month, Scherr hosted a fundraiser for the Neosho Dam project.

"I've been so blessed in life that I can't imagine how or what I've done to deserve this but I'm so thankful. And that's why I try to do so much." he said. "We raised seven thousand dollars this weekend at an event. And had an awesome time. So, that's what it's all about for me. It's community. This is home."
