MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You can now experience the Pabst Mansion like never before. If it's been a while since you visited the historic home, you may be due for a visit.

You can now walk through the mansion with a beer or a mimosa in hand, and you can tour rooms that have never been shown before.

"This is a 20,000-square foot house, and only 8,000 was devoted to the family space," said Jocelyn Slocum, the curator of collections for Pabst Mansion. "You get to see those other spaces -- the basement, the attic, and the areas of the house which used to be servant bedrooms and stuff which are now staff spaces."

Earlier this month a new gift shop and visitor center was opened right next door to the mansion. It's the first and last place people stop to pick up Milwaukee souvenirs and check in for their tours.

There's also an educational space for people to learn more background about the Pabst family and mansion.

There is also live music and a beer garden on the grounds every Saturday in July and August!
