MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For those living in Milwaukee's neighborhoods with a lot of crime, simple tasks like running errands, dropping kids off at school or going to work can put ones life at risk.
"Heal the Hood" hosts events like an annual block party to bring good into the community.
Jessica Butler is the operations manager for Heal the Hood MKE.
Butler joined CBS 58 Friday, July 16 to talk about upcoming events and why they're so important to the community.
