MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Many people have been putting off going to the doctor until it is an absolute emergency during the coronavirus pandemic, and that means many women have been putting off breast cancer screenings.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and doctors say there is no better time than now to get those appointments scheduled.
Doctor Victoria Mango is a board-certified radiologist and expert in breast imaging. Beth Battaglino is both the CEO of Healthy Women and a registered nurse. The two women virtually joined CBS 58 to discuss more information regarding breast cancer risk factors and mammography screenings.
