9 arrested following large fight involving adults, juveniles in Waukesha park

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha police responded to a large fight involving adults and teenagers Tuesday evening, May 16. 

Police say the fight involved at least six juveniles, theft of phones, rocks, sticks and a taser at Waukesha Springs Park. 

Officials say while an officer was gathering information from two alleged victims, a van drove past and occupants of the vehicle began physically assaulting a 17-year-old boy. 

The officer had to request emergency backup because police say the adults were physically fighting with the teens. 

The following arrests were made: 

• Three arrested for child abuse, two of which are on probation
• One arrested for disorderly conduct and battery
• Five arrested for disorderly conduct
