81-year-old woman hit by car in Greenfield

Greenfield Police are investigating after an 81-year-old woman was hit by a car Tuesday evening.
It happened around 6:15 PM near 76th and Cold Spring.
The driver, a 70-year-old man from Milwaukee, was leaving Pick 'n Save and turned left onto Cold Spring Road.
The 81-year-old woman was crossing the street, but was not in a crosswalk.
She suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Froedtert Hospital.
The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
