MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – An annual Good Friday tradition is taking place in Milwaukee.
Serb Hall is expected to serve around 8,000 pieces of fish during the Good Friday fish fry.
Dinners range from $10-13. It comes with fries and coleslaw. A new item on the menu this year is potato pancakes.
“I love the food and the fish fry is great,” Milwaukee resident Mary Jones said.
More than 2,000 people are expected at Serb Hall in the dining room and drive thru.
“This is like the Super Bowl of fish fries, it truly is,” Serb Hall board member Zoran Krecak said. “This day we’re going to have a drive thru, probably 100 deep, the whole banquet hall is going to be filled.”
The fish fry continues until 9 p.m.
