MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tonight, we have new details into the man who was found dead in a New Berlin home last week.
The 77-year-old man was identified as Richard Platt. He was found dead by police on Tuesday night.
Authorities say they received information on where to find the body, from a 42-year-old woman.
Earlier in the day, police found her half naked in a Cedarburg garage.
The granddaughter of Platt spoke to CBS 58 today. She said the woman did have a relationship with Platt.
"There's this woman he's known for almost a decade," said Autmn File., granddaughter of the victim.
"It's hard to describe their relationship, but I wouldn't really call it one," said File.
As of tonight, authorities have not charged anyone in Platt's death.
A GoFundMe has been established to allow people to financially assist Platt's family, and it can be found by clicking here.
