FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 61-year-old Oshkosh man is dead following a rollover crash in Fond du Lac. 

It happened Monday, Jan. 5 just before 7 p.m. 

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, a driver -- identified as Troy Navis -- was traveling on County Highway M just north of Amity Road, when they went off the road into the ditch. The vehicle struck an embankment and came to rest overturned. 

Authorities needed to extricate Navis from the vehicle; he was transported to SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital Fond du Lac where he was pronounced dead. 

Officials say alcohol is a factor in the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation.
