5 displaced after apartment fire in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- 5 people are looking for a new place to live after an apartment fire in Wauwatosa.

The Wauwatosa Fire Department says an adult woman and infant were one of the five rescued from an upper apartment balcony.

They were treated on scene for mild smoke inhalation and refused transport to the hospital.

Crews also say an older man in the lower level of the building was taken to the hospital for mild smoke inhalation.

2 other people in the lower apartment were able to get out safely.

Crews were able to get the fire out in 15 minutes.

The American Red Cross was called for assistance.

The fire is under investigation.
