48-year-old man stabbed at Cudahy apartment building, 33-year-old woman in custody

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 33-year-old woman is in custody after a 48-year-old man was stabbed at an apartment building in Cudahy early Wednesday, Dec. 16. 

Police were called to Plakinton and Kingan Avenue around 4:43 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old man from Cudahy suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

A 33-year-old woman from Cudahy was also treated for injuries. She was then taken into custody. Police say the case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for charging consideration. 

According to police, the incident appears to be domestic. No other suspects are being sought and there is no danger to the community. 

The Cudahy Police Department was assisted by the St Francis and South Milwaukee Police Departments.
