MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say they arrested a 26-year-old man and 24-year-old woman in connection to the fatal shooting near Milwaukee's Deer District.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The victim of Saturday night's shooting has been identified as 47-year-old Sharita Barber of Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say a 47-year-old is dead after being shot multiple times in downtown Milwaukee on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Police say the shooting happened at around 11:34 p.m., near W. Vel R. Phillips Avenue and W. State Street.

The victim died at the scene. Police have made no arrests as they continue to investigate and identify a suspect.
