32-year-old woman dies from injuries sustained in Friday night shooting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim of a shooting that took place Friday night, Jan. 22, has died from her injuries.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. near 37th and Kilbourn.

The 32-year-old woman was shot after a verbal argument escalated, according to police. 

Officials initially reported that the woman was 44 years old.

Milwaukee police continue to seek a known suspect and additional unknown suspects.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left a 44-year-old woman critically injured Friday night, Jan. 22.

It happened around 6:31 p.m. near 37th and Kilbourn. 

Police say the victim and a 28-year-old woman got into a verbal argument that escalated into a shooting. 

The 44-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
