4-year-old Suffers Traumatic Injury in Sledding Incident, Sheriff's Office says

STOUGHTON, Wis. (WISC)  -

 A Med Flight was requested about 3:15 PM to transport a 4-year-old with a traumatic injury from sledding in Stoughton on New Years Eve.

The incident happened on the 3000 block of Rutland-Dunn Townline Road, near the intersection with Highway 51.

Highway 51 was closed in both directions to create a landing zone for the helicopter, which arrived at about 3:45 p.m.

Dane County Sheriff's Office told Channel 3000 the injury was caused by a stick to the neck and that the boy's injuries were not life-threatening.
