38-year-old man shot near 64th and Villard, police believe self-inflicted

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating an early morning shooting on Thursday near 64^th and Villard.

Authorities say a 38-year-old man was shot around 12:15 a.m. He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police say the man was uncooperative regarding the circumstances around the incident. After an investigation, it is believed the incident was an accidental shooting that was self-inflicted.
