MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened around 1:05 a.m. early Friday morning in the 2800 block of W. Lisbon Avenue.
A 36-year-old woman was in the road when she was hit by a car. The driver of the car then fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevrolet Impala.
The victim died from her injuries and police are looking for family.
Milwaukee Police are investigating the crash and looking for the suspect.
The death is the 16th pedestrian fatality of the year.
