3 people injured after a dump truck crashes into a house in Racine

Racine Police say they received a call just after 7:00 AM after a serious car and dump truck accident near 16th St. and West Blvd. 

Racine Fire Department says two people were taken to a local hospital, one person from the dump truck, and two people in a car, after the dump truck crashed into an apartment building and a car crashed into a light pole. 

CBS-58 spoke with a friend of the two people in the car, he says one person suffered a broken arm, the other person will be okay.  No word on the dump truck driver's condition, though it's been reported there are no life-threatening injuries..

The American Red Cross says eight people are displaced due to the crash.  Most displaced residents will stay with friends or family.  Red Cross provided emergency housing for one resident. 

WE Energies were also on scene, where they had one live wire down.  Crews coiled the wire and there is no hazard. They also disconnected the power and gas to the building that was struck for safety reasons. No customers have been affected.
