3 more cases of coronavirus confirmed in Wisconsin -- 2 in Fond du Lac County, 1 in Waukesha County

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Three additional cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 11 -- bringing the total number of cases in the state to six. 

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) said two patients are in in Fond du Lac County, and one case is in Waukesha County. 

In Fond du Lac County, one patient is hospitalized and the other is isolated at home. DHS said one patient was traveling internationally and the other patient was exposed while traveling in the United States. 

In Waukesha County, the one patient is isolated at home. DHS said they were exposed to the virus while traveling in the United States. 

These cases come after two Dane County residents and one Pierce County resident tested positive for COVID-19. The first Dane county case was confirmed on February 5; that person isolated at home and has now recovered after testing negative for COVID-19. The other two cases were announced earlier this week and both individuals are isolated at their homes.
