22-year-old killed in fatal crash, Milwaukee police investigating

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man who died in the crash as 22-year-old Alexander Quintero-Garcia of Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Sunday, Feb. 25, around 2:30am, near 13th and Montana.

Car #1 was heading southbound on the 2800 block of S. 13th and hit the back of car #2, also heading southbound on the same road.

Car #1 lost control and ran into a building. A fire started in the engine, which was put out by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The driver of car #1, a 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, despite life-saving measures performed.

The driver of car #2, a 61-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances that led to the crash are under investigation.
