2 teens shot along railroad tracks in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two teens were shot along the railroad tracks in Racine last night near Prospect Street.

Police say one victim was a 17-year-old female and another was a 15-year-old male.

The two teens, along with some friends, were walking along the tracks when they were approached by four individuals with masks on.

Police say one of the masked individuals started shooting at the group of teens, and as the teens ran for cover, the female was struck.

The male went back to help and was also struck.

Police say both teens were taken to the hospital and were treated and released.

This is an ongoing investigation.
