CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police is investigating two separate deadly shootings that happened earlier Sunday afternoon, Jan. 3. on Milwaukee's northwest side.
Police say that the two shootings are not related to each other.
The first victim, a 40-year-old, was shot and killed near 107th and Wabash Ave around 2 p.m. Milwaukee police are still seeking out suspect(s) in the shooting of the 40-year-old.
The second, a 53-year-old, was shot and killed along W. Mill Rd around 3:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon. A suspect is in custody for the shooting of the 53-year-old and charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney Office.
The circumstances leading up to both shootings are under investigation.
