Victims ID'd: 2 dead, including motorcyclist, in separate crashes in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Officials released the names of the victims involved in separate fatal crashes in Racine. 

A motorcyclist killed in a crash with a vehicle near 10th and Washington on May 27, has been identified as 33-year-old Steven Holub of Racine. 

A man who was killed after crashing into a tree on Osborne Boulevard on May 27, has been identified as 21-year-old Juwann Simmons of Racine.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are dead following separate crashes in Racine on Tuesday night, May 27. 

The first crash happened just before 9:15 p.m. near 10th and Washington, and involved a vehicle and motorcycle. Police say the driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries. 

The second crash occurred on Osborne Boulevard, just south of Spring Street around 10:45 p.m. Police discovered a vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries. 

The identities of the victims in both crashes are being withheld at this time. 

Racine police are interested in anymore information from the public on these crashes.
