19-Year-Old Arrested for Fleeing from Officer after Super Bowl Party

A 19-year-old man is facing charges of fleeing from a police officer following a Sunday night incident in Wauwatosa. Around 11:30 PM, a Wauwatosa Police officer attempted to stop a vehicle, but the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The Wisconsin State Patrol eventually became involved in the pursuit and the vehicle was finally located at a residence near 101st Street and Harrison Avenue in West Allis.

The 19-year-old driver fled on foot, leaving a 26-year-old man and 29-year-old woman in the car with four children ranging in age from 2-years-old to 12-years-old. The 19-year-old was eventually caught, but would not make a statement to police.

The woman told police they had been at a Super Bowl Party and had too much to drink and that the 19-year-old did not want to go back to jail.

Wauwatosa Police are presenting the case to the District Attorney seeking charges of fleeing from a police officer. The two other adults are not facing charges.
