19 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Wisconsin -- including 2 in Milwaukee County, 1 in Racine County

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Nineteen people have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the State of Wisconsin, as of Friday, March 13 -- including two in Milwaukee County and one in Racine County. 

The increase is from seven cases just one day earlier. 

Friday, the first case was confirmed in Racine and Milwaukee Counties.

The Racine County patient was exposed traveling internationally. Health officials said that patient is isolated at home. 

Here's a breakdown of cases within the state: 

  • Dane County, 4 
  • Fond du Lac County, 7
  • Milwaukee County, 2 
  • Pierce County, 1 
  • Racine County, 1 
  • Sheboygan County, 3 
  • Waukesha County, 1 

DHS said the spike in cases is what they expected.
