18-Year-Old Sentenced for Stealing Cars and Shooting 58 Windows Out at Airport

An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was sentenced to seven years for stealing cars and shooting the windows out of 58 vehicles that were parked at General Mitchell Airport.

 Judge Christopher Dee sentenced Paris M. Chambers, age 18, of Milwaukee, to seven years in Wisconsin State Prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, 58 vehicles had windows shot out and possessions stolen while parked at the General Mitchell International Airport garage between January 30 and February 3. 

Greenfield police officers spotted a red Ford pickup that had been reported stolen from the airport and the two subjects were arrested with a BB gun rifle and three BB gun pistols in their possession.

Chambers was found guilty of: Attempt Take and Drive Vehicle w/o Consent, Criminal Damage to Property, Take and Drive Vehicle w/o Consent, Criminal Damage to Property, and Bail Jumping-Felony, a class H felony, WI Statutes 946.49(1)(b), two counts.
