Glendale man sentenced to 17 years in prison for May 18 homicide
On Wednesday, June 14 at approximately 12:20 AM, the West Allis Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at S. 60th St. and W. Mitchell St. When officers arrived they found a two car crash between a SUV and motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old man from West Allis, died as a result of the crash.
Initial investigation revealed the SUV was driving south on S. 60th St. and the motorcycle was traveling north on S. 60th St. The SUV made a left hand turn, failing to yield the right of way to the motorcycle, causing the crash.
Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
A 32-year-old West Allis man was taken into custody on suspicion of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and Operating After Revocation Causing Death.
