18-year-old charged in deadly shooting near Vel R. Phillips and North Ave

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old man is now facing a homicide charge in connection to a deadly shooting in Milwaukee.
Terrion Smith is accused of killing 19-year-old Zakiy Robertson on May 21 near Vel R. Phillips and North Avenue.
Court documents say Robertson was at a gas station in the area, and video footage shows him exit the store, approach a vehicle and extend his arm as though pointing or firing a gun.
The video reportedly shows the passenger of the vehicle duck down before Robertson takes off running. The vehicle follows Robertson, and according to the criminal complaint, Robertson can be seen falling to the ground.
The complaint says Smith admitted to shooting Robertson when interviewed by detectives, but made it seem like Robertson was firing back at him at the time.
Prosecutors say this is inconsistent with surveillance video and where the casings were recovered.
Court records show Smith's bond is set at $100,000. He is due back in court July 2.
