MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee bar is asking for the public's help in finding out who threw a rock through their window in what they believe was an anti-LGBTQ+ attack.
The Sugar Maple is located on the corner of Kinnickinnic and Lincoln in the Bay View neighborhood.
Around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, June 22, a large rock was thrown through the bar's front window, where pride flags are hanging. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
They posted photos of the damage on Facebook and tell us they're overwhelmed with support.
"I think there are a lot more good people than there are bad out there, and I just feel like that post really kinda melted me in just feeling all of that support," said owner Adrienne Pierlussi.
Milwaukee police are investigating the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact MPD at 414-935-7262, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS.
