17-Year-old Racine boy accused of raping girl at school

RACINE -- A 17-year-old Racine boy is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in the boiler room of Real Middle School which shares a building with Olympia Brown Middle School in the Village of Caledonia.

According to the criminal complaint, 17-year-old Talon Mascaretti encountered the alleged victim in a school hallway on March 12th. He allegedly told the 15-year-old victim he had consumed Xanax pills and offered her pills.

The victim told police when she refused Mascaretti's offer he grabbed her wrist and allegedly pushed her into the school's boiler room. The complaint says the victim tried to scream, but the machines in the room \"were super loud\". The victim says Mascaretti allegedly raped her in the boiler room.

The criminal complaint says Mascaretti called the victim seven times the next morning. According to the complaint he said, \"Nothing happened, I'll slit your throat and your family's throats.\"

Mascaretti is facing five criminal charges:
