17-year-old injured in Fox Point crash

Fox Point Police and North Shore Fire Department responded to the 6800 block of North Lake Drive for a crash at 10:45 PM Saturday.

Police found a car that had left the roadway and hit a tree.

The 17-year-old driver of that car was injured and had to be taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life.

His current condition is unknown at this time.

Based on witness accounts police believe that speed was a factor in the crash.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Fox Point Police Department with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
