WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old from Racine led Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies on a ten mile high speed chase in a stolen car Wednesday afternoon. Around 2:23 p.m. Dodge County Sheriff's Deputies received a report of a tan Toyota driving recklessly on I-41 south.
Washington County Deputies saw the car near County Highway K and began pursuing. The chase reached speeds of 100 mph until the teen hit a semi and crashed near Lannon Road in Germantown.
The car was stolen out of Racine.
The teen was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, felony eluding and operation without a license.
The youth was turned over to the Racine Sheriff’s Office and was reported a runaway from a facility in Racine County.
