KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The 15-year-old victim was shot in the stomach and is in stable condition. Officers found a gun in the apartment.
Charges are pending.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thursday morning a little after 6 a.m. Kenosha Police responded to an apartment on 38th Avenue for a report of a shooting.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for gunshot injuries. The seriousness of the injuries has not been released, but the boy did need surgery.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and the case is being investigated as negligent discharge of a weapon.
The suspect and victim knew each other and police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
