WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A school in Mukwonago was closed after an incident allegedly involving a student Monday, Oct. 30.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, a 15-year-old boy was arrested after police said he caused more than $10,000 worth of property damage at the school.
Authorities said the student's actions were caught on camera.
According to the sheriff's office, the break-in happened just before 7 a.m. when the student broke a window gaining entry to the school.
They said the boy destroyed and stole school property.
Authorities did not elaborate on what was broken or taken, but they said the damage was extensive.
They went on to say the student also drove a school vehicle, parking it in the wrong spot.
The student faces criminal charges of damage to property and burglary.
According to officials, this campus is where boys, ages 12 to 17 who have had trouble with the law, come to be rehabilitated back into society.
Administrators with the school say the school will reopen Tuesday.
