15-Year-old armed robbery suspect killed by victim in Walker's Point

MILWAUKEE -- A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was shot and killed during an attempted armed robbery at 2nd and National Ave. on September 1 around 5:30 a.m.


According to police, a group of teenagers attempted to rob a group of adults near 2nd and National Ave. One of the adults, a 30-year-old West Allis man, pulled out his gun and began shooting at the group of teens. 


The15-year-old armed robbery suspect killed by the 30-year-old West Allis man was a known gang member. Police say he's been arrested for armed robbery, auto theft, fleeing, and theft. The teen was also a victim of a non-fatal shooting on August 1.


The West Allis man who shot the 15-year-old boy was taken into police custody, and has been released. 


Police have located and arrested the group of teens involved in this attempted robbery. The suspects are two 14-year-old boys, a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, and an 18-year-old man. Police believe this group is responsible for multiple armed robberies across the City of Milwaukee.
