14-year-old shot on Milwaukee’s north side

A 14-year-old boy is in Children’s Hospital this morning with a single gunshot wound that is considered non-life threatening.  The incident happened just past midnight as the youth was walking in the area of N Sherman Boulevard and W Villard Avenue.  According to Milwaukee Police, the victim was walking in the area when he heard a gunshot and realized he was wounded.  The circumstance surrounding the shooting are still unclear at this time and the MPD is continuing to search for suspects.
