MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 14-year-old boy charged in connection with the kidnapping of a 7-year-old in Milwaukee, has been waived into adult court. 

Barry Coleman had an initial appearance in a Milwaukee County courtroom Monday, Dec. 1. His charges include kidnapping, taking hostages, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18. 

Officials say Coleman was connected to the kidnapping of 7-yea-rold Jamal White back in July. 

Coleman, along with two others, kidnapped White in front of his father's home after a botched robbery. 

White was found safely the next day in the home of one of the suspects.
