13-year-old calls 911 on mom who was driving drunk in Brown Deer

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brown Deer Police responded to a drunk driving call around 10:17 p.m. Tuesday night in the 4500 block of Spring Lane. A 13-year-old girl told police that her mother was drunk and drove her and her 9-year-old brother home.

Police questioned the 36-year-old mother but could not determine if she was drunk when she was driving. The woman was arrested for hit-and-run and resisting arrest.

The woman was taken to the police station, cited and then released. All four of the woman's children were turned over to another relative.
