12 arrested for DUI over holiday weekend including one with baby in car
Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 12 drunk drivers over the July 4th holiday weekend from 4:00 PM Friday to 6:00 AM Wednesday, July 5. The average breathalyzer test result was 0.14.
A 60-year-old man from Kenosha was arrested for his second DUI all 11 other arrests were first time offenses.
35-year-old Jamaal Butler of Milwaukee was arrested for his first DUI with a minor child in the car. A deputy stopped Butler on the evening of July 4th on I-43 north near Walnut Street at about 7:40 PM. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and said he had two beers at noon.
The initial breathalyzer result was 0.17. A one-year-old child was in the vehicle.
Butler faces up to six months in jail if convicted of DUI-1st with Minor Child Under Age 16 in Vehicle.
