One day of showers, storms to dodge this weekend
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the 11th Year, Fromm Petfest is putting on an event for the whole family. It’s not often you get to bring your four-legged friends along to Henry Maier Festival Park.
This Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can let your dogs try out activities like dock diving, the doggie dash and agility courses.
“We're using treats, toys and chews as motivators, so our trained staff will guide them through the course and see how they do on the equipment,” said Adam Loose, executive assistant with Pawsitive Dog Training.
The event is free to enter. Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring their dogs and cats, and waivers are required for pets to enter the grounds.
There will also be resources for pet parents and those interested in adopting.
