11 Cattle Killed in Northern Wisconsin Truck Crash

Town of Wausau, Wis. (WSAW) -- 11 cattle were killed Monday when a large truck lost control on state highway 52 and crashed into a barn in the Town of Wausau, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.

Around 3:15 p.m. a dump truck loaded with gravel lost control and ran off the road into a barn full of cattle.

The driver had minor injuries and the barn was heavily damaged.

On Sept. 25, about a week earlier, a crash on state highway 29 in Marathon County killed 16 cattle.

A semi-truck carrying 32 cattle rolled over near county highway Y in Hatley.
