$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Racine

A lucky Powerball player woke up to a million dollar prize in Racine Thursday morning by matching five out of five numbers without the Powerball in Wednesday's drawing.

Wisconsin Lottery officials say the million dollar ticket was sold at Durand Avenue Mart in Racine. No one in Wisconsin got all five numbers with the Powerball to catch the grand jackpot Wednesday night, but the $1 million prize is still a big win.

Five other players also won cash in Wisconsin: a winning ticket worth $30,000 was purchased in Oshkosh and four additional players each won $10,000 in New Lisbon, Racine, Sturgeon Bay, and Blair.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prize by mail or in person at Wisconsin Lottery offices in Madison or Milwaukee.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 11, 13, 25, 39, and 54, with a Powerball of 19. The Power Play number was 3.

Didn't win this time? Don't give up hope. The next Powerball drawing on Saturday is worth $40 million with a $27 million cash payout.
