1 dead in fire near 24th and Vine

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department has confirmed one person is dead after a fire near 24th and Vine.
It happened at 11:12 a.m. today.
No other injuries have been reported.
Officials say it was a 1.5-story residence. There was a fire in the basement.
One deceased 68-year-old male was found in the basement. Officials were told he lived alone and there were no other people in the residence.
This is an ongoing investigation.
