WILLIAMS BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay is now closed.

The final tours were held this weekend at the 121-year-old observatory.

The University of Chicago closed the landmark saying it was no longer cost effective to continue operations. The University moved its operations to Chicago.
