MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) – WSUM, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s student-run community radio station, has been named Best College Station in the Nation by Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS).
IBS is an organization that supports both college and high school media outlets and organizations. Each year, the IBS Media Awards are handed out at their annual conference to its member stations. This year, IBS leaders say more than 3,000 entries were submitted from 100-plus schools across the country and the globe.
For CBS 58 Sunday Morning, our Kathryn Merck takes us behind-the-scenes of Katie Sander and Daniel Stein’s show, "Going to the Country," on WSUM to show how students believe they achieved this accomplishment.
