(CBS 58) – As the holiday season approaches, a new virtual program is working to honor our nation’s fallen heroes.
Wreaths Across America is a yearly tradition to remember, honor and teach by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and other locations in all 50 states.
This year, there will be both in-person and online events. For the first time, people across the country will be able to watch volunteers lay wreaths on the graves of veterans to commemorate their sacrifices.
More information can be found on the Wreaths Across America website.
