Worker killed, another seriously injured after cement truck backs over them in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One construction worker was killed and another critically hurt when a cement truck backed over them on a jobsite in Racine County on Thursday, Sept. 24. 

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, it happened around 8 a.m. on Highway 11 near Ohio Street in Racine County. 

A 39-year-old woman from Menomonee Falls died from her injuries. A 28-year-old Kenosha man was left in critical condition. 

Assisting agencies at the scene included the Racine County Sheriff's Office, Racine Fire Department, Racine EMS, Racine Police Department, and the Racine Medical Examiner. 

Names of the victims involved are being withheld until family is notified.
