Construction underway on International Drive extension

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is planning to begin work the week of July 30th on the extension of International Drive south to connect with WIS 11.

The project will construct a four-lane urban roadway linking the existing roadway with WIS 11.

The project is set for completion in late 2019 and is a part of the development roads projects supporting the development in and around the Wisconsin Valley development site.

The roadway will be a concrete paved surface with a median. The multi-use paths included in the design will be completed under a separate contract.

A new box culvert will be constructed at Hoods Creek as a part of this project. Once all work is complete, the roadway will serve as an additional north-south connection between WIS 11 and WIS 20.
