MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A woman charged with helping Dariaz Higgins while he was on the run from police is pleading not guilty.
Deloise Lipsey is accused of traveling with Higgins after an AMBER alert was issued for his daughter, 2-year-old Noelani. Investigators say Lipsey still did not turn Higgins in, even after learning he was wanted in a double shooting that killed Noelani's mother.
The toddler was later found dead in a ditch in Minnesota.
Bail was set at $500 during Monday's hearing. Lipsey will be back in court in June.
