WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – Three people are in the hospital including a woman who was trapped under a bus following a crash in Washington County Friday morning.
Authorities say a pickup truck trying to change lanes clipped a taxi bus causing it to lose control on southbound Highway 45 near the Town of Barton.
The bus ran off the road into the woods where it turned over onto its side. A passenger on the taxi bus became trapped and crews had to use an inflation device to lift the bus off the woman’s leg.
She was taken to the hospital by Flight for life. The bus driver wasn’t injured, however two people in the pickup were also taken to the hospital.
