Woman Suffers Serious Injuries after Crash on North Avenue

Milwaukee Police are investigating a serious crash that happened on Thursday around 11:50 a.m. at N. 22nd Street and W. North Avenue.
A 50-year old woman from Milwaukee was driving a gold Chevy Malibu, north across W. North Avenue and her vehicle was struck by a silver Jeep traveling west on W. North Avenue.
The 50-year old woman suffered very serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the Jeep suffered non-life threatening injuries was also taken to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing and MPD is working to determine the cause of the accident.
